Meet Jot℠, the real-time alerting, custom tagging, one less thing to worry about app. Jot is free and exclusively available for Ink℠ from Chase business card customers. With Jot, small business owners and their employees can track business expenses on-the-go and instantly tag purchases.

So how does Jot work? After you download Jot, just use your Ink business card to make a purchase and you’ll receive a real-time alert to tag your purchase with custom categories that you create. Tags can be client names, job numbers or whatever category works best for your business. You can even split purchases between tags. Jot not only saves you time, but also helps you stay in control of your expenses. You can track your purchases, plus stay on top of your employee’s purchases. Employees can also use Jot to tag their own purchases, so you don’t have to do it at the end of the month. You can even adjust employee card spending limits in real-time.

Jot is also available online – why should your phone get all the love? Just log into your account with your Chase User ID and Password and click ‘Tag purchases with Jot’. Here you can tag and split purchases, plus create reports and download data into QuickBooks® or Excel®.
